位點掃描庫是多肽序列優(yōu)化的一個重要工具。在目的位點上替換全部的天然氨基酸，每條多肽替換一次，可用來鑒別活性較佳的多肽序列。常用在復(fù)雜的蛋白混合物中鑒定T細胞抗原表位，或用相互依賴的子位點來定位底物，以減少合成和篩選工作量。
