Flow cytometric analysis of CD3 expression on human peripheral blood lymphocytes. Human PBMC stained with Anti-Human CD3 Antibody (OKT3), mAb, Mouse (GenScript, Cat. No. A02199. Red) or with mouse IgG2a isotype control (Gray), followed by goat anti-mouse IgG PE-conjugated antibody. Data shown was gated on CD45 (+)/SSC Low lymphocytes.
Target Background |
CD3 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, expressed on T cells. It is composed of four distinct chains (ε, γ, δ, ζ). CD3 antigen can form a complex with the T cell receptor (TCR) to generate an activation signal in T cells, which plays an important role in TCR signal transduction and both cytotoxic T cell ( CD8 + na?ve T cells) and T helper cells (CD4+ na?ve T cells) activation. |
