Broad Multi Color Pre-Stained Protein Standard
is a special-designed protein standard. The standard is a mixture of ten highly
purified pre-stained proteins ranging from 10 kDa to 270 kDa, covalently
coupled with three different chromophores. The 30 kDa and 270 kDa bands are orange,
50 kDa band is green, and other bands are blue. |
| Storage Buffer |
62.5 mM Tris-H3PO4 (pH 7.5), 1 mM EDTA, 2% SDS, 10
mM DTT, 1 mM NaN3, 33% glycerol. |
| Storage |
Stable at -20°C for up to 24 months or 4°C for up to 3 months. Aliquots
are recommended before use to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
| Procedures |
1. Thaw this product
at room temperature. Do NOT boil protein marker. 2. Mix gently and thoroughly to ensure that the solution is homogeneous. 3. Bands intensity may vary according to gel type, thickness, and staining condition. Please adjust loading volume from 2.5 μl to 10 μl. |
| Recommendations |
1. Completely thaw
and mix this product at room temperature before using. 2. This product is only suitable for roughly estimating the molecular weight of protein samples. |

protein migration during SDS-PAGE. 2. Estimating protein sizes on SDS-PAGE gels. 3. Verifying transfer efficiency on membranes for Western Blot. 4. Locating a protein of interest for excision from an unstained preparative gel. |
